Where's Brent Been? The Gardener's Cottage

If, like many of us, you are itching for a bit of a holiday - we recommend following Brent Wallace from Where’s Brent Been . With his impeccable style, taste for luxury and a keen eye for up and coming travel destinations - Mr Wallace is a name to keep your eye on. We were lucky enough to host Brent for a weekend away in May at our offsite guest house, The Gardener’s Cottage. Here’s what he had to say.

“We had the most magical country style stay! The scandi interiors (think 5 comfy bedrooms piled high with beautiful linens) and vast gardens make for a beautiful private escape in the lovely town of Braidwood. The kitchen included the best espresso coffee maker – our flat white addiction was soothed (and we loved the supplied Little Marionette Coffee beans). Our favourite spot on the property would have to be the magical gardens in all their glorious Autumnal extravagance of colour. Light up the fire-pit and enjoy!”

“Take the time to visit beautiful Bungendore, just 30 minutes up the road – here you’ll find charming antique stores and my new favourite home interiors store, Manon and Moss. Pick up everything from Santa Maria Novella candles and toiletries (they stock the full range) to Hale Mercantile bed linens and floor rugs from Cadrys. It’s seriously gorgeous. Wander into Braidwood itself to check out the local antique shops like Gravitas and grab a coffee and pastry at Deadwood.

Also make sure you lunch at Provisions Deli in Braidwood, the most delicious galettes and the outdoor courtyard will have you imagining yourself in the South of France!”
