WE Communications — Corporate 'WeTreat'

In December 2022, we hosted WE Communications (one of the largest communications and integrated marketing agencies in the world) for a three-day corporate retreat called ‘WETreat’.

Mona Farm isn’t your traditional corporate destination. We’ve reimagined the cookie cutter ‘corporate retreat’ in a refreshingly new way which is why we LOVE clients like WE Communications who incorporated Drag Queen Trivia, A Fireside Dinner, ‘We Athletics’, Farm Tours, Grazing Boards and a Spritz Station into their itinerary.

As you’ll see in the video supplied by WE Communications, their Sydney & Melbourne teams had a blast. We’ve included their itinerary at the conclusion of this post (in case your boss needs a hint).


WE Communications — Corporate Retreat Itinerary

Day 1

2.30pm — Arrival
Sydney and Melbourne staff arrive at Mona Farm via coach 

2.30pm — Check in
Staff check in to their luxury accomodation onsite and get settled in. WE Communications Manager to meet with Julien on arrival and run through details of the event 

4.00pm — Grazing Boards
Grazing boards and Spritz Bar served at The Homestead Lawn. Following this guests to make their way to The Woolshed.

4.30pm — Team Building Activity

5.30pm — Drag Queen Trivia
WE Communications Drag Queen Trivia in The Woolshed
Guests will return to the accommodation side of the property at 6pm to get ready for dinner 

6.30pm — Smoke & Fire Dinner
Smoke & Fire Menu designed by Mona Farm Executive Chef - served in the New Stables 
Tier 2 beverage package to commence (3 hours)

9.30pm — Conclusion of Event
Dinner and beverage package to conclude 

9.45pm — Shuttle Bus 
Bus will pick up 22 guests and drop back to Mona Farm offsite Guest Houses (The Gardeners Cottage, Cedar Lodge, Tidmarsh & Longbarn)


Day 2

8.15am — Shuttle Bus 
Shuttle bus to pick up guests at Tidmarsh & Longbarn, followed by Cedar Lodge and Gardeners Cottage 

8.30am — Mona Farm Continental Breakfast
Breakfast served in The New Stables 

9.00am — Yoga 
Breana will run a yoga class for the guests on the Croquet Lawn (no mats or blocks required) 

9.00am — Group 1 Farm Tour
Farm tour with John (group 1) - max 45/50 minutes 

10.00am — Group 2 Farm Tour
Farm tour with John (group 2) - max 45/50 minutes 

11.00am — Mona Farm Morning Tea
Morning tea served at the Homestead Lawn 
WE staff will set up the carnival games during this time 

11.30am — Athletics Carnival
Athletics carnival (organised by WE) to take place at the Croquet Lawn 

1.00pm — Mona Farm Lunch
Lunch served at the Homestead Lawn 

2.00pm — Painting
Painting (organised by WE) activity at the Homestead Lawn 

3.00pm — Mona Farm Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea served at the Homestead Lawn 

3.30pm — Shuttle Bus
Bus will arrive to collect the offsite guests and drop them back to their accommodation 
Onsite guests will head back to their accommodation / have down time 

5.15pm — Shuttle Bus 
Offsite guests will be picked up from offsite accommodation and dropped to Mona Farm by 5.30pm 

5.30pm — Mafia Games
Mafia Game (organised by WE) in the marquee 

6.00pm — Mona Farm Dinner
Seated Dinner served in the Woolshed 
Tier 2 beverage package to begin (4.5 hours) 

6.20pm
Canapés to be served roving 

6.40pm
Guests to be seated 

6.50pm
Entrée to be served 

7.40pm
Mains to be served with sides 

8.30pm 
Dessert to be served 

9.00pm — Karoke
Karaoke to begin (organised by WE) 

10.30pm — Conclusion of Event
Beverage package to conclude / bar to close

Day 3

8.15am — Breakfast 
Onsite guests to arrive at Croquet Lawn
Morning menu to be served and The Coffee Cart to open 

8.30am — Shuttle Bus 
Offsite guests to be collected and dropped to Mona Farm by 8.45am 

10.15am — Breakfast Concludes
Food and beverage service to finish, coffee cart to close 

10.30am — Departure 
All guests to depart Mona Farm via coach
