A Magical Evening with Marina Prior
On February 23, 2019 Marina Prior and the Canberra Wind Symphony performed under the stars at Mona Farm. Regarded as Australia’s leading lady of musical theatre, Marina wowed the crowd with her powerful vocals throughout the 2 hour performance. Accompanied by renowned pianist David Cameron, the show concluded with a spectacular fireworks finale over our sprawling historic property.
Gold ticket holders enjoyed a VIP experience at The Homestead, with canapés and drinks on the lawn followed by a private tour of our extensive collection of contemporary art and sculptures. After the show they retired to the Woolshed, where they were treated to a meet and greet with Marina.
Delicious canapés and gourmet grazing boards were provided by Katering, who served fresh prawns, beetroot and goats cheese tartlets, slow roasted lamb pappardelle, mushroom risotto, and boards piled high with various meats, cornichons, crudité vegetables and lavosh. All this was followed by moorish brownies and fruit served on the tables.
The bar was stocked full with wines from Corang Estate, who’s unique wine flavours and cool climates styles are celebrated throughout the NSW Southern Tablelands region.
