Meet the Manager — Michael De Wet, Hospitality Director
MEET THE MANAGER
Michael De Wet, Hospitality Director
With more than 10 years’ experience working across internationally acclaimed hotels, Mike has been brought on to take Mona Farm to new heights.
In his early career in South Africa, Mike worked at a range of 5-star destinations including The Michael Angelo Hotel, Lobourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, The Saxon Boutique Hotel & more. With an impressive client list of influential figures, from Lady Gaga (heard of her?) to the legendary Nelson Mandela, Mike is well accustomed to delivering service at an exceptionally high-level.
Before joining us, he was the Venue Manager of The Tearoom, housed within Sydney’s iconic Queen Victoria Building. It was in this role where he honed in on weddings – welcoming north of 1500 guests each week across two luxurious European-inspired weddings.
Having managed teams of 100, Mike is perfectly positioned to lead our team into the next chapter of Mona Farm. We’re thrilled to have him onboard and look forward to introducing you to him!
