The largest of the historic buildings at Mona Farm, The Homestead is the original convict brick Georgian house built in 1853 which was expanded in the early 1900's. Sleeping up to 12 guests, it features high ceilings, expansive rooms and is surrounded by sweeping lawns and original Elm trees planted by Thomas Braidwood Wilson.
A unique collection of contemporary art and sculpture can be found in the main homestead building. In this historic setting, over 45 Australian and International artworks reside, showcasing a juxtaposition of new amongst old.
Perfect for families and groups, The Homestead has all the amenities to allow you to experience country life at its best.
