Thursday | Arrival & Welcome Event

• 11:00AM | Wedding Couple Arrival / Meeting with Michael

  Wedding couple arrives at Mona Farm and meets with Hospitality Director, Michael De Wet to review all event details and drop off stationery, guest favours, and personalised wedding items.

• 2:00PM | Check In & Guest Arrival

  Wedding guests arrive at Mona Farm and check into their guest houses, with personalised door hangers indicating room allocations.

• 3:00PM | Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal

  With a glass of Champagne in hand, the wedding party runs through the wedding ceremony and practices their entrance to the reception.

• 6:00PM | Welcome Dinner

  Guests are invited to join the couple at The New Stables for a Welcome Dinner. Mona Farm sets the space with relaxed outdoor furniture, a bar, and provides glassware, ice and ice buckets, cutlery, speakers, and a microphone if required, with pizzas flowing throughout the evening.

Friday | Wedding Day

• 8:00AM | Guest House Breakfast

  Mona Farm team delivers eggs, bacon, sourdough, seasonal fruit and accompaniments to each guest house.

• 8:30AM | Morning Yoga

  A guided beginner’s yoga session aimed to energise the body and prepare the group for the day ahead.

• 9:30AM | Explore Braidwood

  Guests are invited to explore the heritage-listed town of Braidwood, including Mona Farm’s sister businesses; The Albion Café or Provisions Deli & Creperie.

• 10:30AM | Fly Fishing at Mona Farm

  Create some unforgettable memories while bonding with the boys during a two-hour fly fishing lesson on Mona Farm’s Lake.

• 12:00PM | Wedding Party Lunch

  A selection of wraps, seasonal salads and gourmet baguettes are delivered to the wedding party in their respective guest houses.

• 2:30PM | Guests Arrive to Ceremony

  Greet your guests with a sparkling station set in The Rose Garden, offering a glass of Champagne and a refreshing San Pellegrino sparkling water.

• 3:00PM | Ceremony Begins

  Guests are ushered to the Croquet Lawn and seated ahead of the ceremony commencing.

• 3:30PM | Ceremony Concludes & Post-Ceremony Begins

  Guests are ushered to The Homestead Lawn for the post-ceremony drinks. An acoustic music duo plays in the background as guests enjoy roving canapés and signature cocktails.

• 4:30PM | Champagne Tower & Oyster Bar

  The newly married couple pours the Champagne Tower. Guests are invited to enjoy freshly shucked oysters accompanied by a delicious Champagne & French shallot vinaigrette.

• 4:45PM | Welcome Speech

  The celebration is officially welcomed with a speech from the newlyweds.

• 5:00PM | Post-Ceremony Concludes

  Guests invited to walk over The Bridge and along Pear Tree Lane to the reception, where they are greeted by Mona Farm’s resident Highland Cows, who are always happy to pose for photos.

• 5:30PM | Guests Seated on Arrival to Reception

• 5:40PM | MC Intro & Housekeeping

• 5:45PM | Wedding Party entrance

• 6:00PM | Speeches

  MC to introduce first round of speeches (i.e. Parents of the newlyweds)

• 6:15PM | Plated Entrees Served

  Guests begin the evening with an entrée of duck tortellini with beetroot puree, pine nut & currant dressing or herb crusted tuna with tuna mayo, fennel salad & avruga.

• 7:15PM | Shared Mains & Sides Served

  Italian porchetta with fresh fennel & rosemary, roasted potatoes, seasonal greens and bistecca all fiorentina is served.

• 7:30PM | Wedding Couple Sunset Photos

  Slip away to enjoy a quiet moment together and capture some sunset pictures. There is often time for a quick dress change as well.

• 8:00PM | Speeches, Cutting of Cake & First Dance

  After the final speech, the couple cut the wedding cake and have their first dance.

• 8:15PM | Espresso Martini Tower

  Kick off the dancefloor with an Espresso Martini from the perfectly balanced, six-tier tower.

• 8:45PM | Dessert & Wedding Cake Served

  Lychee & coconut panna cotta, mandarin sorbet and a rich chocolate mousse with edible flowers is served roving to guests. Mona Farm’s White Chocolate & Raspberry wedding cake served canapé style to guests.

  Artisan coffee & specialty tea available at the bar.

• 9:30PM | Late Night Snack

  A late night snack of mini cheeseburgers and shoestring fries are served.

• 11:30PM | Reception Concludes / Bus Departure

  The bar closes at 11:00pm, latest conclusion time & last bus departure for offsite guests at 11:30pm. Onsite guests return to their accommodation (perhaps gathering for a nightcap and debrief at The New Stables first).

Saturday | Recovery Lunch

• 10:00AM | Lawn Games Set

  Finska, Corn Hole and of course, Croquet, are set up at The Croquet Lawn.

• 11:30AM | Recovery Lunch Commences

  Featuring smoked beef brisket cooked over local timbers, barbequed corn cobs, potato salad with cornichons & Dijon mustard and more, this is a theatrical yet relaxed menu. Pair this with Bloody Mary cocktails and an Aperol Spritz so guests can continue the celebrations.

• 2:30PM | Leftover Wedding Cake

  Enjoy some leftover White Chocolate & Raspberry wedding cake from the night before.

• 3:30PM | Recovery Lunch Concludes

• 5:00PM | Grazing Platter Delivery

  Grazing platters are delivered across the estate for guests to enjoy in the comfort of their own accommodation.

Sunday | Departure

• 10:00AM | Guest Check Out & Departure

  Check out of your accommodation and farewell your guests, who will all be raving about the ‘best wedding they’ve ever been to’. Stop by one of our sister businesses, Provisions or The Albion in Braidwood on your way back home.
