The winter sunshine made the clouds appear metallic, adding to Amy’s high-impact aisle entrance as the sun bounced off her glistening sleeved gown. We’re happy to report that on a sunny day in winter, Tom dropped a knee and proposed to a joyous (and very surprised) Rosie. She said yes. The best part? Dylan (the photographer) had been camouflaged as a member of our gardening team and captured the whole thing. Brilliant. We’re so pleased that we were able to assist Tom in executing his vision. It was delivered perfectly, just as he’d pictured all those months ago.

Vibrant, perfectly landscaped and bursting with life, the gardens provided the perfect backdrop for Elle and Richard’s three-day wedding weekend in March. The couple made the most of Mona Farm’s spectacular garden spaces, hosting their welcome event in The New Stables and outdoor entertaining area, officiating their marriage on The Crab Apple Lawn and letting their hair down for a large-scale recovery event held across the sweeping Homestead Lawn.

Max and Imogen are the type of couple who would have partied through rain, hail or snow but on their special day, the sun beamed down. The only thing brighter was Imogen, as she walked down the aisle. This made for one of the more ‘serious’ moments of the weekend. Fighting back tears, Max was speechless and as he later said in his speech, in that moment he truly felt like ‘the luckiest guy in the world’.

After plenty of dancing, a round of espresso’s and a scoop of Messina, guests strolled back to their accommodation.
